The NHS and the UK Government are backing a new initiative that could reward people in England for walking every day. Under the proposed Movement 26.2, or "marathon a month", scheme, adults who regularly complete around 20-30 minutes of walking each day could receive rewards such as shopping vouchers and discounts through a loyalty-style programme.
